Very Cheap Brewings

With my taxes all sent in and accepted the pressure of Tax Day has been removed. My specialty has always been trying to locate "decent" beers at amazingly "cheap" prices. Or do we get what we pay for? This tasting will try to prove the either/or theorem correct or incorrect?
Old Harbour Select: Color-Cloudy yellow Nose-No discernible smell First taste-Slight taste; fades Observations-Not pleasurable Where Brewed? Utica, NY Fizziness-Mild head; active bubbles Type-Pilsner lager Cost-50 cents per 12 ozs. Saying-MJM Brewing Co. Aftertaste-Slight Rating-4
Pabst Blue Ribbon: Color-Clear yellow Nose-Clean First taste-Smoother; taste fades Observations-Taste not lasting Where Brewed? Milwaukee, Wis. Fizziness-Rim head; few steady bubbles Type-Lager Cost-61 1/2 cents per 12 ozs. Saying-Selected America's best 1893 Aftertaste-Slight Rating-4.5
Steel Reserve: Color-Golden Nose-Funky First Taste-Strong Observations-Taste remains; can detect high alcohol level Where brewed? Milwaukee, Wis. Fizziness-Spongy head; active bubbles Type-High Gravity Lager Cost-62 1/2 cents per 16 ozs. Saying-Slow brewed Aftertaste-Remains full mouth Rating-5.75
FINAL THOUGHTS-First 2 entries not good; Steel Reserve surprises
