Blockparty IPA Extraganza

The regular crew is again assembled at my brownstone south of Park Slope in Brooklyn. We will be evaluating another set of IPA's from around the US.
1)Magic Hat Roxy Rolles(Vt.): Burnt molasses; pleasant; not overpowering; smoothness; creamy slight bitterness Gary-6.5 Mike-7.25 Rita-7 Avg.-6.916
2)Smuttynose IPA(NH): Very bitter(grapefruit seed like); bitterness lingers; Bitterness overpowering; not pleasant taste Gary-5 Mike-6 Rita-5 Avg.-5.666
3)Red Hook Long Hammer IPA(NH): Slightly bitter; crispy; stays on taste buds; some positive taste; "Smoothness to the Bitterness" Gary-7 Mike-7 Rita-6 Avg.-6.666
4)Saranac IPA(NY): Crispy like the Longhammer IPA; Hint of burnt molasses; hits whole mouth; smoothness; tiny bitterness lingers; pleasant tasting; bitterness on side of tongue remains. Gary-6.5 Mike-7 Rita-6.5 Avg.-6.666
